History and music project 2018
June 20, 2018 - June 23, 2018
Between the 20th and 23rd of June 2018, we invite you to the second edition of the History and music project, which intends, in the centenary year, to invoke the Great Union through the contribution brought by few personalities of the music world to the preceding events (Mihail Jora’s participation, as well as other composers, during the World War I, Emil Monția’s participation as representative at the Assembly in Alba Iulia), and the contribution of some musicians to the reappearance of some countries on the European map (the pianist Ignacy Jan Paderewski, becoming the first Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland reborn as a country).
Inside the project will be evoked moments from the history of almost half a century of the communist regime in Romania, by presenting unknown biographies of interpreters praised on Romanian and international stages (through the second exhibition of photographs and documents from the C.N.S.A.S Archive).
The project is included in the event Art Festin Făgăraș 2018 and has free admission.
